Όσκαρ από τώρα; Γίνεται και ιδού οι πρώτες εκτιμήσεις από το αρμόδιο Variety

Κουβέντα να γίνεται. Η εξειδεικευμένη συζήτηση για τα Όσκαρ δεν είναι απλώς πρώιμη από πλευράς στοιχείων, είναι και ελαφρώς κωμική - αν και εξηγήσιμη από το ότι ο ειδικός Τύπος πάντα πιστεύει ότι το περιεχόμενό του είναι γενικού ενδιαφέροντος. Ωστόσο, με την εξαίρεση του «Killers of the Flower Moon» που θεωρητικά έχει ήδη κλείσει θέση στη λίστα των υποψηφίων Καλύτερης Ταινίας, δεν ξέρουμε τίποτα. Το Variety, ωστόσο, ισχυρίζεται το αντίθετο.

Ως εκ τούτου παίρνει αμπάριζα από τις βραβεύσεις των Καννών και μιλά για την αυξημένη οσκαρική αξία της νικήτριας ταινίας, «Anatomy of a Fall», (ψηλά στην Διεθνή Ταινία και το Σενάριο λέμε εμείς) και την ανάλογη του «Zone of Interest» του Γκλέιζερ, το οποίο πράγματι έχει το θέμα και την κριτική στήριξη αυτή τη στιγμή.

Σε αυτά το Variety προσθέτει το «May December» του Τοντ Χέινς (το άρπαξε το Netflix), παράλληλα στηριζόμενο από πιθανές ερμηνευτικές εμφανίσεις των πρωταγωνιστριών Τζούλιαν Μουρ και Νάταλι Πόρτμαν, καθώς και του απαραίτητου Γουές Άντερσον με το «Asteroid City» του.

Προτού σας αφήσουμε στην ακατάσχετη τιτλόρροια (sic) να πούμε ότι για τους καμμένους των προβλέψεων υπάρχει αυτό, ενώ να ενημερώσουμε ότι το deadline υποβολής φέτος είναι η 18η Νοεμβρίου. Από τις 11 έως τις 16 Ιανουαρίου ψηφίζει η Ακαδημία και οι υποψηφιότητες ανακοινώνονται στις 23 Ιανουαρίου. Τα Όσκαρ είναι στις 10 Μαρτίου.
